Pedal Boat Rental at the Sorpesee

Soak up the sun. Watch the clouds. Enjoy the panoramic view and let yourself drift. A genuine pedal boat tour on the Sorpesee is definitely part of a day at the Sorpe. At the Sorpesee you will find a total of three stations that rent pedal boats for a small “caper” during the season (April to October):

• Promenade Langscheid, near the pier
• Strandbad Langscheid, from June to August
• AiRlebnisweg Amecke, below the Restaurant & Café AiRnah

Pedal Boat Rental at the AiRlebnisweg

The pedal boat rental currently offers eleven boats at the forebay. Especially for the kids, the pedal boats in the shape of a swan, dragon or car are the “stars”. You will find the rental directly at the Airlebnisweg (next to the Wasserliege station; below the Restaurant AiRnah). From May to September (depending on the weather), the Grisail family offers the pedal boats. You can reach the operators by phone at this number: 0173-9062655.

Opening hours:

• From May to September (depending on the weather) daily from 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Pedal boat rental prices / per boat:

• 1/2 hour: €10.00
• 1 hour: €15.00

New from 2022:

From this year, five stand-up paddling boards will also be offered for rent at this station. The prices are:

• 1/2 hour: €10.00
• 1 hour: €15.00

Pedal Boat Rental Promenade Langscheid

Operation from March/April to October, depending on the weather. The pedal boat rental currently offers 15 boats, each suitable for a maximum of four people. Two of the pedal boats can also be used with a maximum of five people.

Opening hours:

• Monday to Friday: 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• Saturdays & Sundays: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Pedal boat rental prices / per boat:

• 1/2 hour: €8.00
• 1 hour: €15.00

New from April 2022

From this year, two stand-up paddling boards will also be offered for rent at this station. The prices are:

• 1 hour: €12.00
• 2 hours: €20.00
