Parking at Sorpesee

If you arrive by car (or motorcycle), you can park in one of the 16 paid parking areas at Sorpesee. The designated parking areas are subject to charges daily from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Electric cars will also be subject to charges from 2025-01-01. Please note that the parking areas on the promenade have a maximum parking time of 3 hours. You can find free parking at the Langscheid sports field (Langscheider Str. 93, 59846 Sundern).

Overview of parking fees

Promenade Langscheid parking lots
(parking ticket machines 6–8):

  • 15 minutes: €0.50
  • 1 hour: €2.00
  • additional 3 minutes: €0.10
  • Maximum parking time 3 hours (€6.00)
  • Important: Holders of annual parking permits must also display a parking disc with the arrival time as proof.

All other parking lots
(parking ticket machines 1–5 & 9–21):

  • 60 minutes: €1.50 / minimum fee: €1.50
  • additional 3 minutes: €0.10
  • Day ticket €6.00
  • Maximum parking time 12 hours (overpayment into the next day possible up to €18.00)

Parking tickets valid around the entire lake

Dear guests,

Since our parking fees are the same rate at all parking lots around the lake, you can also take your valid parking ticket with you and use it at another location around the lake. Important: this rule does not apply to the promenade in Langscheid.
