Sing along—Sing-along concert at Sorpesee

On September 4, it will be time for the 5th edition of “Sing doch mal” (Just Sing). This year’s sing-along concert by the Bürgerstiftung Sundern, which can look back on 20 years of existence in 2026, will take place again this year—hopefully in the best weather—in the open air on the lake stage in Langscheid: the event begins at 7:00 PM.

Everyone who wants to spend a relaxed summer evening is invited to sing along, clap along, or just enjoy the great atmosphere. Admission is, of course, free. As in the previous year, the trio “Born to Music” with frontwoman Josy Born will perfectly showcase new and old hits, rock and pop favorites—all real catchy tunes—so that singing along becomes a pure joy. The lyrics will be displayed on a large LED wall for everyone to read.

The community foundation receives active support, almost traditionally now, from the women’s choir Harmonia Sundern and the choirs TAKTVOLL Endorf and Westfalia Langscheid. Bratwurst from the charcoal grill and drinks will be provided by the choirs, ensuring that refreshments are well taken care of.

All those involved hope that, as in previous years, several hundred singers will visit the lake stage. Preparations for the concert are already in full swing. It only remains to hope that the weather on September 4 shows its best side and that umbrellas do not have to be opened for occasional raindrops.
