To build a company like Sorpesee GmbH sustainably requires this special mix of different people, skills, and talents. Our passion for what we do, the fabulously beautiful location, and the optimal use of the conditions allow us to say with pride: We are Sorpesee GmbH.

Sorpesee GmbH is a subsidiary of the City of Sundern and the Ruhrverband. We operate four camping sites, a motorhome pitch, and the Nordic Ferienpark Sorpesee.

We are also responsible for the spa facilities in the climatic health resort of Langscheid – which include the ParKur Sorpesee as well as the mini golf course directly at the Haus des Gastes – the promenade in Langscheid, and the AiRlebnisweg Amecke at the Sorpesee reservoir.

Our responsibilities also include the operation and administration of the public swimming pools of the City of Sundern, which include the Kurbad and the Panoramasauna Sorpesee in the Haus des Gastes, the indoor pool in Sundern, the lido in Langscheid, and the teaching pool in Sundern-Hachen.

As a lessor, we are partners with many restaurateurs and providers of sports and leisure activities around the Sorpesee.

Our Team Sorpesee now includes a total of approximately 60 employees.

And when we say team, we are talking about our wonderful gastro power at the front, the tireless cake bakers and cooks, the intrepid first aid on the telephone hotline, the indestructible colleagues with “green thumbs” and “golden hands”, the supervisors in the baths, the masters of infusions in our sauna, the faithful cleaning fairies in our facilities, the diligent desk perpetrators in the back office, the experienced specialists in the front office, the experts from the home office, the heroes at the camping front. We are talking about all the carers & “maids of all work”, the great team players and feel-good managers, the agony aunts and uncles and last but not least the chief chief who holds the whole thing together.
