The Ruhrverband only allows swimming in the Sorpesee at the Langscheid lido.

Anyone who has leased a permanent pitch from Sorpesee GmbH is not allowed to simply sell their caravan. A new tenant/lessee must contact Sorpesee GmbH in advance. Contact: 02935/9699015 or ester@sorpesee.de.

Permanent campers are allowed to have visitors. Please inform the groundskeeper in advance to pay the corresponding overnight fee.

Yes, you can cycle on the circular route around the Sorpesee main basin (approx. 16 km). However, the path is for cyclists and pedestrians or hikers. The difficulty is easy, as there are hardly any significant inclines.

The Airlebnisweg in Amecke is 3.4 km long and invites you to 20 interactive stations. Here you will find all the information about the AiRlebnisweg in Amecke.

The total distance around the Sorpesee is 16 km. Only minimal inclines on an all-around paved path make the hike interesting for wheelchair users and families with small children. everything about hiking on the Sorpesee here.

E-bikes and bicycles can be rented at the Outdoorzentrum Sorpesee or at the Meilenweit restaurant. Click here for all information about cycling and rentals.

During the season, pedal boats can be rented at the promenade in Langscheid (near the ship landing stages), at the Airlebnisweg Amecke (below Pier 5/Camping am Damm), and at the Langscheid lido.

You can rent SUP boards at the paddle boat rental stations on the Langscheid promenade and at the Airlebnisweg in Amecke.

A travel cancellation must be made in writing (by post or email) to Sorpesee GmbH (see terms and conditions).

A notice of withdrawal must be made in writing. If the tenant withdraws from the contract or does not occupy the rental property, the following lump-sum compensation must be paid to Sorpesee GmbH:

• Up to 45 days before the start of the rental period, 20% of the rental price
  
• 44 to 30 days before the start of the rental period, 50% of the rental price
  
• 29 to 8 days before the start of the rental period, 80% of the rental price
• 7 to 0 days before the start of the rental period, 100% of the rental price.

Should the holiday home not be allowed to be rented due to an accommodation ban, the tenant will be refunded 100% of the rental costs.
Contact restrictions alone, quarantine, a Covid-19 disease or, for example, a missing immunization are not reasons for a free cancellation.
