Ruhrverband’s Leisure Regulations for the Sorpetalsperre
Dear guests, dear visitors of the Sorpetalsperre,
the Ruhrverband’s (RV) reservoirs were built to provide clean supplementary water, especially to secure the water supply. At the same time, they are highly sought after as recreational waters. In order for the reservoirs to fulfill their actual water management tasks, pollution and other burdens must be avoided. The leisure use of the reservoirs is therefore only possible to a limited extent. These leisure regulations, in addition to the public law provisions, govern the permitted leisure and recreational uses on the reservoirs, in particular the use of watercraft and water sports equipment, including the fees charged for this, while maintaining the water management objectives.
The Following Points are Regulated in the Present Leisure Regulations
