With a view of the Sorpesee and located directly on the spa gardens in Langscheid, you will find the Haus des Gastes, with a variety of offers. The use of the mini-golf course, as well as the hall rental for weddings, courses and celebrations of all kinds, the tourist information, as well as the Panoramasauna Sorpesee and the spa with gastronomy are operated from here.

Spa in the Haus des Gastes
Guaranteed cloudless & free from wind and weather: Enjoy 32°C warm water and the panorama with a fabulous view of the Sorpesee. Simply fantastically beautiful. The spa in the Haus des Gastes in Sundern-Langscheid is ideal for water enthusiasts, diligent swimmers and those who simply want to relax a little. The pool dimensions are 8 x 16 meters and a depth of 1.30 m

Dear guests, in the period 25.08. – 30.09. the Haus des Gastes will remain closed due to dry maintenance. As part of the dry maintenance, the window fronts of the spa will be renewed this year.

Our promise: Arrive and come down directly. Here, a healing climate meets hot air and positive energy meets feelings of happiness and joie de vivre. You will find the Panoramasauna at the Sorpesee in the Haus des Gastes in Sundern-Langscheid. With direct access to the 32° warm spa, you can spend a wonderful spa day here: Take a deep breath again, recharge your batteries and leave everyday life behind.
Please note that we do not operate a bathrobe/towel rental on site.
Dry Maintenance
Dear guests, due to the annual dry maintenance, the swimming pool will be closed from 25.08. – 30.09. closed, the sauna closes from 25.08. – 05.09. and reopens from 06.09. at the usual times. In the period 06.09. – 30.09. a reduced rate of €15.90 applies.

Our Sauna Offer
The Panoramasauna
The sauna log cabin, located in the sauna garden, with walls made of planed log planks, exudes the scent of first-class Finnish polar pine. The large sauna stove is filled with 200 kilograms of real Finnish periodot stones, which give the infusion a special pleasure. At 90° C, elaborately celebrated, aromatic infusions and a variety of applications by our sauna masters, sauna lovers get their money’s worth.
The Tulisauna
The hexagonal fire sauna is also located in the sauna garden, right next to the Panoramasauna. It is also made of planed log planks, with a sauna stove that stands in the center of the sauna. “Fire and flame” is the sauna theme here. The fire contributes to a hot but pleasant climate at around 100°C and a humidity of 10-20%. No matter where you take a seat in the sauna, the blazing fire will magically capture and hold your gaze.
The Valobad
The small but very popular sauna with 60°C and 40-60% humidity is designed for a maximum of six people. It is located inside the sauna area. The Finnish word “Valo” means light and is the focus of the warm air bath. In addition, there is another highlight, the sauna stove covered with black granite. Water enriched with essential oils emerges from a heavy granite ball, which creates the high humidity. A color-changing “starry sky” and the gentle splashing of the fountain flatter the soul and promote well-being.
The Steam Bath
The steam bath is the smallest of our saunas. It is designed for a maximum of 4 people and has about 45°C with 100% humidity. The water vapor, which is provided with natural essences, is an absolute blessing for the respiratory tract and for the body. The steam cleans from the inside, prevents colds, strengthens the immune system and has an analgesic, antispasmodic and relaxing effect.
Physio- and Ergotherapy of the Neurological Clinic Sorpesee
In the Haus des Gastes in Langscheid you will also find the therapy outpatient clinic of the neurological clinic at the Sorpesee. In addition to the previous services in the therapy center of the clinic, outpatient treatments will also be offered in the future in separate rooms in the Haus des Gastes in Sundern-Langscheid.
